About this item:
Bought at an estate sale, this 8"x7" print titled "Swallows"
has been authenticated as a mid to late 19th century wood block print
by a local dealer in wood block prints. Although framed probably over
a 100 years ago, print seems to be in good shape, and frame still
retains it original sealed wood back. Written in what appears to be
crayon or ink at bottom of picture is "Swallows" on left side, on
right side is "Utamaro". Any advice on this item would be greatly
appreciated. |
